Public

Topic dropdown not available to public, so provide browse/all activities access via header nav link

• option 1: link to public section (choose from "topics")
• option 2: link to all activities page (/list)
• option 2: ignore this and just direct users to search

Logged In

• Optional: add a catalog topic and navigation link to browse paths directly, since they would otherwise only be available within the collections

Sections

Create two sections, one to contain topics that will be visible to public, and the other to contain topics only visible to logged in users.

Topics

Public

Create topics that will be visible to public users as well as logged in users.

• not available in catalog, home page only (users can still search)
• no restrictions
• add paths that are marked for public access, but will also be available to logged in users
• no collections
• no stand-alone activities

Logged In

• allow in catalog as well as home page
• restrict to logged in users (user is active = true)
• add collections (that are also restricted to logged in users (user is active = true))
• no paths

Collections

Logged In

• restricted in catalog to logged in users (user is active = true)
• no public
• add to logged in topics
• yes to deep search
• allow enrollment status for paths started or completed outside of collection

Paths

Public

• available in catalog
• allow public
• add to public topics
• no deep search
• these settings will make them available to public and still available after login

Activities

Public

• only Evolve courses or pages
• not available in catalog (no stand-alone activities)
• allow public
